Specialized Programs

Lloyd Estates Elementary has a STEM Special as well as a VEX Robotics Club.

The school's teams have qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championships. The school participates in the Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) robotics league, and its robotics program is part of a larger initiative within BCPS to promote STEM and coding education. Students learn to build, program, and modify robots to solve challenges. 

Grades 3-5 are part of the VOLTA program. The VOLTA foundation provides recorders and music for the students. The fifth grade students will be part of a finale program playing their recorders with the Symphany Orchestra.
